I need to either connect with "localhost:8888" or "127.0.0.1:8888" in my browser. Some additional info, even on my private network I cannot connect to the service with the private IP address. I attached my port forwarding config and the device name to ensure that it is the correct device and I included a screenshot of the port checker to show that it doesn't see the port as open from an external network. I tried searching "port" or "forwarding" on the ufix.att portal and it says no results appear. When your selections display in Hosted Applications, select Save.Ĭlicking the link for the AT&T Port Forwarding Tool just takes me ufix.att portal but I have never seen any errors pop up about port forwarding. From the Needed by Device drop-down, select the device name or IP address of the device to open the port.Your new applications or devices will display in the Applications list. When all applications or devices have been added, select Return to NAT/Gaming.Repeat as needed for additional applications and devices. Select the appropriate Protocol from the drop-down for the application or device you are adding. In Base Host Port, enter the port number used for the first Global Port Range section. In this case the port number should be the same in the Global Port Range fields. It is recommended to create a separate service entry for each port as opposed to using a port range. Enter the port(s) you wish to open for Global Port Range.Enter the name for the application or device in Service Name.If your application isn't in the list, or you are setting up port forwarding for a device: From the Service drop-down, select the application for port forwarding. Then, you can continue with the steps in this solution. If you receive a warning message, visit the AT&T Port Forwarding tool to enable port forwarding on your account.Check the steps below to verify that you are completing all the steps. So my follow up question is does the BGW320-500 support port forwarding or do I need to get a different router, do an IP passthrough to it and set it up on there? I don't see much info on the BGW320-500 with port forwarding but I also know it's apparently a somewhat new is quite correct you are on the proper page to set your port forwarding. After reading the description on the side, it doesn't seem like this is port forwarding. It struck me odd at first but I didn't see any other pages that looked like they do port forwarding and this page was similar to others I've seen in the past. I looked at things again and noticed that the page I'm setting this up on is the "NAT/Gaming" page in "Firewall". When trying to setup port 21, I tested on a remote desktop machine on an external network as well. I tested it on some port checking site(not sure reliable these are though) and also attempted on my phone with WiFi disabled to test on an external network. I tried forwarding port 8888 and 21 in the past but no longer need it. I'm only using the BGW320-500 so it should be a static IP.
